Our Story One expert,
Our Full Story
One expert,
start to finish
Back Porch Designs And Repairs was founded in 1986 with a simple idea: homeowners along the Grand Strand deserve a builder who shows up, listens, and does the work right. Since then, we have built screen rooms, sunrooms, pool enclosures, and outdoor living spaces for families across Myrtle Beach and the surrounding communities.
Every project runs through one person: David Heath. With over 40 years of hands-on experience in design and construction, David handles each job himself from the first conversation to the final walkthrough. You will never be handed off to a subcontractor or left wondering who is responsible for your project.

Where We Work Patio & Deck Builders Services Across
Patio & Deck Builders Services Across
the Grand Strand
Based in Myrtle Beach — serving every corner of the Grand Strand.
Primary Service Area
Myrtle Beach, SC
Myrtle Beach sits along the central Grand Strand, where salt-laden Atlantic air accelerates corrosion on standard aluminum framing and bare metal hardware. Much of the housing stock was built between 1970 and 2000, meaning screen rooms, sunrooms, and pool enclosures from that era are now showing age-related wear on frames, mesh, and fasteners. Sandy, low-bearing-capacity soils beneath many neighborhoods require careful footing work when anchoring enclosure structures. The mix of condos, high-rise units, Intracoastal Waterway homes, and single-family subdivisions like Myrtlewood and Market Common creates a wide range of project types and access conditions.
